When the Community Builder Needs a Community 😂

Community Builder: “Good morning, everyone! 🌞 Let’s get the conversation started!” Posts something interesting. Welcomes new members. Answers questions. Starts conversations. Connects people. Encourages someone who needs a little motivation. Shares something useful. Three hours later… Community Builder: “Okay… I think everyone is feeling connected.” Looks at coffee cup. Empty. ☕😳 Looks at energy level. Also empty. Looks at notifications. 147 new things to respond to. 😂 Someone says: “How’s your day going?” Community Builder: “Wonderful! 😊” Meanwhile, internally: “I have absolutely no idea who I am anymore.” 🤣 And then someone posts: “Hey everyone! I’m new here!” Community Builder suddenly finds another 12% of their energy: “WELCOME!!! 🎉🎉🎉 SO HAPPY YOU’RE HERE!!!” Because apparently Community Builders operate on: ☕ Coffee ❤️ Good intentions 💬 Conversations 😂 Pure stubbornness And somehow… Even when we're tired, we still care about creating a place where people feel welcome, connected and heard. That’s the funny thing about community building. You can be completely exhausted and still get ridiculously happy when two members start having a great conversation without you. ❤️ And THAT is when you know you're doing something right. 🙌 Community Builders… Be honest: What would you say to someone who's considering being a Community Builder? 😂👇
