Being a great musician is a wonderful start. But if you want people to know you, remember you, and follow your journey, you have to give them a chance to discover you—and get to know you. And thankfully, you don't need to stand on a street corner yelling, “LISTEN TO MY NEW SINGLE!” 😂 🎸 Be Part of the Community Find musicians, music lovers, venues, events, and communities where you feel at home. Join conversations. Support other artists. Celebrate their wins. Share ideas. Collaborate. The more you participate, the more people naturally get to know you. 🎤 Let People See the Person Behind the Music Your music is important—but you are part of the story too. Share what inspires you. Talk about your creative process. Show the funny moments, the behind-the-scenes chaos, the little victories, and the occasional “well…that didn't go according to plan.” 😄 People love discovering the person behind the songs. 🌟 Keep Showing Up You don't have to be everywhere, every day. Just be consistently present where your people are. Share your music. Join conversations. Meet people. Play shows. Collaborate. Encourage other musicians. Little by little, familiarity turns into recognition. ❤️ Give People a Reason to Remember You The goal isn't simply to collect followers or rack up streams. It's to become someone people recognize, remember, recommend, and want to hear again. Be generous. Be interesting. Be yourself. Keep creating. When you become part of the community instead of simply promoting to it, something pretty amazing happens—people start talking about you. 🎶 Now Go Be Heard! Start today. Find one musician to support. Join one conversation. Share something that gives people a glimpse of who you are. Make one genuine connection. Keep showing up, keep creating, and keep giving people a reason to remember you. Your next fan, collaborator, opportunity—or even your next great song—might come from a connection you make today. So get out there, join the conversation, and let people discover the musician behind the music. 🎵

"Keep showing up" seems to be the most important one for me. I am more likely to interact with someone whose name I recognize over time. 💯
