A Founder’s To-Do List

Monday morning: “This week I’m going to be incredibly organized.” So I make a beautiful, carefully prioritized to-do list. 10:00 - Work on strategy 11:00 - Follow up with potential customer 12:00 - Review finances 1:00 - Product development 2:00 - Marketing 3:00 - Team meeting 4:00 - Finally get some actual work done Sounds perfect. 😎 Then Reality Arrives. 📩 Email. 📱 Phone call. 💡 Brilliant new idea. 🐛 Unexpected problem. 🤝 Someone needs help. 📊 Something needs checking. 🚨 Something that was supposed to take 5 minutes takes 2 hours. And suddenly it's 5:47 PM. I look at my beautiful to-do list. I have completed… checks notes… one thing! But somehow, I have: ✔️ Solved 7 problems ✔️ Made 3 decisions ✔️ Started 2 new projects ✔️ Had 14 conversations ✔️ Learned something important ✔️ And created 6 new things to put on tomorrow’s list. Then comes the moment every founder knows: “Tomorrow, I’m REALLY going to stick to the plan.” 😂
